National championships 2021
The NASA board of directors are pleased to officially announce that the 2021 men’s National championships will be taking place on the 7th and 8th of August at The York Autograss venue, Moor Monkton A59.
We plan to run a National championships as normally as we are permitted and will be closely monitoring the government advice up to the event.
Our plans are as always to involve all countries that have NASA members and we will keep you all up to date as soon as the different countries restrictions change, hopefully with restrictions easing all members can return to racing soon.
There have been lots of discussions on National allocations and we have decided that leagues will receive the same allocations that they received in 2019, this decision is necessary as some leagues still have members who are subject to government restrictions and that may continue until the cut off date normally used, to qualify to race at the men’s nationals drivers must have a licence by the 26th of May and league qualifying is as always the leagues responsibility.
We are also aware that there will be some of you that may not want to, or be able to attend the Nationals in 2021, so just for this year we are making arrangements to live stream the whole event so that nobody misses out.
Further details will be given on this event and the ladies and juniors nationals during the next few weeks.
